Carolina Bucci Cuff

This gorgeous looking bracelet cuff is actually handwoven in Italy on a traditional loom using solid 18ct yellow gold threads and red silk. Of course, it comes with a £2,960 price tag, but I think its worth it. This elegant Carolina Bucci cuff comes in two other designs and are available at Astley Clarke.

Hello, Yellow!

 
Its no secret that I love yellow things, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that I was a little giddy when I spotted this Sabina bag on the Urban Outfitters website. Its actually a satchel but it quite adorably converts into this sweet bowling bag shape (my favourite bag shape).

The bag is leather with satin lining and has those big buckles on the front and back. This is the Honeycomb colourway but it also comes in Spruce, Moon Grey, Jean, Sienna and Dusty Rose. It costs US$225 and is right here. I think I'll put it in my wishlist.

Its all about me me me.

No, I'm not talking about me... I'm referring to 'Me Me Me' the gorgeous jewellery brand by London based designer, Jade Gallup. Jade handcrafts her necklaces, brooches and earrings using fine quality porcelain and sterling silver components. This little bunny is my favourite. I'd have to rate Marc by Marc Jacobs as one of my favourite labels. This collection is particularly appealing, featuring bold bright colours and retro styling.

These pieces are all easily wearable, fun and are relatively affordable. I'll take one of everything please!

I'm using this colour palette for the new collection I'm working on, so I was immediately drawn to these gorgeous totes by Tory Burch.

Country Road - Winter 2008

Country Road's Winter collection looks so cosy. The casual collection is full of warm knits and easy-to-mix pieces.

There are some trend items but their classic pieces are the stand out Winter basics for me. I like the mary-jane wedges too. Take a look at the Country Road website or the online catalogue for more details.

I am totally in love with Brisbane label, Maiocchi's new Winter 2008 collection. And what's more, this collection is absolutely huge. I could happily throw everything out of my wardrobe and fill it with these pieces.

Are you a Harajuku Lover?

When I was in Sydney this month I spotted some cute Harajuku Lovers hightop sneakers. However, upon looking at the complete Harajuku Lovers collection online, I'm unsure whether I really am a lover. This is my pick from the Harajuku Lovers website:

Perhaps they're not that bad, maybe I'm just not as into kawaii as I thought. I was expecting to love everything in the range. I still like the shoes though:

I really do love Harajuku (and all of Tokyo for that matter) but I think I'm a little more selective about loving Gwen's version.

Secondhand Goodness

When I was about 15, my best friend Deborah and I would spend Saturdays at local charity shops raking through mothballed coats and geriatric cardigans in search of vintage treasures.  We were often very successful. My most prized find was a pair of genuine vintage, black suede knee-high boots which cost only $2.50. Happily, Deborah and I each found black velvet jackets and cream ruffle-front blouses so there wasn't any vintage-envy.

Of course, its not 1990 anymore and scratching through other peoples' cast offs is no longer necessary, other people do it for you. These days, I prefer my clothes to be new but if I were looking for a little vintage something I'd turn to these super-professional ebay stores.

Lovely Lady Lorick

Clothes are not an obsession for me, not the way accessories are. Very rarely do I see a collection that actually makes me gasp. But thats just what I did when I saw the Spring 08  collection by New York designer,  Abigail Lorick.

Channeling just the right mix of lady-like glamour, colour, prints, elegant silhouettes and Hepburn chic, this collection from Lorick makes me weak at the knees.
